Loss of a Parent

The death of a parent can be extremely difficult. You don’t have to go through the grief alone. New Hope Center for Grief Support offers two programs for individuals who have lost a parent. These programs provide a safe space to share your grief with others who have experience a similar loss. There is no cost to attend either of these programs.

  • “Beginning the Grief Journey” Seminar
  • Young Adult Grief Discussion Group

The death of a spouse is often recognized as one of the most emotionally overwhelming and stressful losses. New Hope Center for Grief Support offers a variety of programs and peer led support groups for widows and widowers which provide a safe space to talk about your grief and the unique challenges you may face.  There is no cost to attend any of these sessions.

Thrive Thursdays

If this year has taught kids anything it’s how to deal with challenges and changes! Join us for Thrive Thursdays where we’ll reinforce the life lessons learned to strengthen resiliency, boost empowerment, and build confidence through fun and connection!

Overbooked

Parenting is hard. Your Book Club Shouldn’t be!

Opportunity to meet monthly with local parents-explore topics in parenting and emotional well being.

Overbooked meets the third Thursday of each month 7-8 pm via Zoom.
The Northville District Library has Limited copies of each title available as well as access to the selections in ebook and audiobook formats.

Hosted by the Northville Youth Network (NYN). Look for upcoming dates in the Fall season.
