Hegira Health, Inc. offers a variety of specialty treatment services designed to meet the unique needs of each child and family. The Children’s Outpatient Services (COS) clinic specializes in the treatment of psychiatric disorders of childhood and adolescence. Our comprehensive continuum of services meets the broad range of needs facing children and their caregivers.
Traditional Outpatient
Home-Based
The Home-Based program delivers services to families in their homes in order to achieve permanence for children, while maintaining and strengthening the family integrity. Home-Based services are available to children/families that require ongoing access to a continuum of behavioral healthcare services.
Infant Mental Health
Infant Mental Health (IMH) services help families of children ages 0-3 who experience special challenges related to the child. IMH provides home-based parent/infant support and intervention services to families where the parent(s) condition, life circumstances or characteristics of the infant threaten parent/infant attachment and the consequent social, emotional, behavioral and cognitive development of the child. IMH is an evidence-based model of care that has been shown to reduce the incidence and prevalence of abuse, neglect, developmental delay and behavior disorder.
Autism & Developmental Disabilities
Our program for Autism & Developmental Disabilities provides services to children ages 0-18 who have been diagnosed with Autism, cognitive impairment or other developmental disability. Services are provided onsite and in the community.
Wraparound
Wraparound is an intensive, holistic method of engaging children, youth and families with complex needs so that they can live in their homes and communities and realize their hopes and dreams. Wraparound is a process that is unique to each family, but with some shared elements:

Unfortunately, grieving children are often “invisible mourners.” This happens because a parent must navigate their own grief journey in addition to helping their child through grief. Our programs provide a family-centered approach to grief support by investing in children, supporting parents, and strengthening the family.
